As of October 2024, yes, we do offer wireless printing! Please note that printing, wireless or otherwise, is only available to current MVCC students and employees.
You can wirelessly print to any campus printer.
-
There is a MyMV tile called Lab Web Print; you may have to click Discover More in MyMV to find and pin the tile. Also, anyone can go to https://mvprint.mvcc.edu:9192/app and log in with their MVCC account.
-
Employees have to enter mvcc\username (ex. mvcc\jireland) and their MVCC password. Students just enter their whole student email address and password.
-
Select Web Print on the side navigation panel.
-
To upload a document to print, select “Submit a Job.” Select the green Upload Documents button. Upload from computer or drag and drop file(s). Upload and complete once all files are uploaded. Photos taken on an iPhone are not compatible (file extension HEIC), but most other file extensions are.
-
You can then either go to any MVCClabs printer and release with an ID swipe. Or, from Papercut, select “Held in queue, and print, then select the printer you want it to print from and OK.
Note: Papercut does not seem to work well with the Safari internet brower. If you are using an Apple product and can’t print, download Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox and use that as the Internet browser instead of Safari.
If the above does not work for you, you can use a workaround: either save your document to a flash drive or email it to yourself, and then print it from a computer in the library. Please ask a librarian if you need assistance!
